What Should Teachers Do?

There are many things that teachers can do in supporting students who use assistive listening devices:

1) Learn about the assistive listening device. 2) Talk with the student ahead of time about how the assistive listening device will be used. 3) Put the microphone in the right spot. 4) Talk with the whole class about how the assistive learning device will be used during class. 5) When possible, face the student. 6) Check the equipment regularly.
